Honest limits

OCR accuracy depends heavily on image quality, font, and layout — dense handwriting and low-contrast photos will read worse than clean printed text.

Real-ESRGAN (deep-learning super-resolution) isn't running here. It needs a multi-hundred-MB model and a GPU-friendly runtime, which doesn't fit a static, zero-backend site. What runs instead is classic Canvas-based enhancement — grayscale, auto-contrast, and unsharp-mask sharpening — which is fast, free, and covers most everyday scans.

Everything happens client-side in your browser, including a batch of up to 10 images. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — which also means very large images or long batches are limited by your device's memory, not a server.

The reverse-check is a word-level diff, not a semantic one — reordered sentences that mean the same thing will still show as delta-errors.

Ctrl/⌘+V works in every current browser. The Paste from clipboard button needs the newer Clipboard API, which Safari and Firefox restrict — if the button is blocked there, the keyboard shortcut still gets the image in.

An image dragged straight out of another website arrives as a link, not a file. Sites that block cross-origin fetching will refuse it — copy the image instead and paste it here.
